The Story of Hamamat: Your Cousin from the Village

Hello, Kings and Queens!

I’m Hamamat, and I come from a long line of women who have passed down the secrets of shea butter for generations. As the Seventh-generation Shea Butter Queen, I learned the ancient art of making shea butter from my grandmother, just as she learned from hers. In our family, shea butter is not just a product—it’s part of who we are. It’s how we heal, protect, and honor our skin, our families, and our heritage.

You see, growing up in the village, the women in my family would gather under the old shea trees—trees that have stood for centuries, just like our traditions. I remember watching my grandmother as she skillfully prepared the shea nuts, her hands moving with the wisdom of generations. She would always tell me, “Hamamat, this is more than just butter. This is our story, our strength, and now it’s yours to share with the world.”

Now, as your cousin from the village, it’s my honor to pass this story on to you. When you use Hamamat Shea Butter, you’re not just nourishing your skin—you’re reconnecting with the roots of our family, with Africa’s traditions, and with the wisdom of our grandmothers. Let me take you on this journey, from our village to your home, so you can experience the beauty, healing, and purity of shea butter, just like we’ve been doing for generations.
